Photographs

I spent many years working as a cinematographer, shooting low-budget horror and kung-fu films. These days, I mostly photograph for personal art projects and for the simple pleasure of it. I shoot both analog and digital, and I enjoy working with each equally. I also have a soft spot for Polaroid instant film.

Chuzhao Mini 1

This Christmas, a friend gave me a tiny Chuzhao Mini digital camera. I’ve barely put it down since. So far, I’ve taken more than 250 photographs with it, many of which appeared in the latest issue of my zine.

Here are some images I liked but didn’t have room to publish in Issue 17.

I can make prints of any of the photographs from the zine or featured here — let me know if you’d like one.

The Mini 1 also shoots video, and I’d like to make a short film with it someday.
